Job summary

CS Recruiting seeks a Senior Freight Broker for a federally regulated, nationwide freight brokerage client. This full-time remote role focuses on identifying new customers, leveraging relationships, and delivering customized transportation solutions across the United States.

You will manage the full sales cycle, build strong shipper partnerships, and collaborate with operations, pricing and carrier teams to optimize margins. A minimum of 5+ years in U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in U.S. freight brokerage, preferably in a customer-facing sales or business development role.
• Established book of business and existing shipper relationships preferred.
• Proven hunter mentality with success in acquiring customers and generating revenue.
• Ability to substantiate historical performance: revenue, gross margin, retention and growth.
• Willing to travel occasionally; based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new freight brokerage customers across the United States.
• Leverage relationships and an established book of business to accelerate revenue growth.
• Develop and execute a proactive business development strategy: prospecting, referrals and networking.
• Build and maintain long-term shipper relationships and manage the full sales cycle.
• Collaborate with operations, pricing and carrier teams to ensure smooth freight execution.
• Understand customer supply chain requirements and deliver customized transportation solutions.
• Maintain customer records, pipelines, forecasts and BD activity in company systems.
