Job summary

Raisin is seeking a Senior Manager for Fraud Strategy & Operations in Sandy, Utah. This role leads the design, deployment, and optimization of fraud prevention and detection across onboarding, linking, and payments.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations to protect the platform while preserving a smooth customer experience. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in fraud and risk, strong Python/SQL skills, and a proven ability to deploy ML models in production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in fraud risk management, analytics, AML/financial crime, or payments risk.
• Strong technical skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience deploying ML models in production.
• Expertise in U.S. fraud typologies (ATO, identity theft, synthetic IDs).
• Understanding AML/KYC and how it intersects with fraud controls.
• Experience influencing decisions across Product, Engineering, Compliance and Operations.
• Excellent communication skills with executive leadership.
• Strategic, analytical mindset balancing fraud prevention, operations scalability, and customer experience.
• Leadership experience to scale influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy real-time fraud rules in the risk engine.
• Integrate customer and transaction risk scores into decision logic.
• Balance fraud prevention with customer friction.
• Build detective monitoring rules and alerts.
• Conduct post-mortems on fraud incidents and implement countermeasures.
• Tune rules to reduce stale logic and adapt to new fraud tactics.
• Define fraud KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for leadership.
• Lead investigations end-to-end and implement durable controls.
