Job summary

RealPage, Inc. seeks a Senior Fraud Strategist to develop, test, and optimize fraud strategies across onboarding and payments workflows.

You will write SQL, connect fraud signals across systems, and translate analysis into practical controls that protect customers and enable business growth. You will partner with Risk, Product, Engineering, and Operations to tune rules, thresholds, and monitoring programs, while documenting rationale and expected impact for leadership reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in fraud strategy, payments risk, or related technical risk function.
• Advanced SQL: write, troubleshoot, explain queries; dashboard-only not enough.
• Experience developing or optimizing fraud rules, thresholds, and monitoring strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize fraud risk policies, rules, thresholds, and control documentation across onboarding and monitoring workflows.
• Analyze data to validate hypotheses, identify fraud patterns, and measure strategy performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance, Operations) to implement controls and monitoring.
• Monitor launched strategies and tune parameters based on performance and feedback.
• Translate dashboards and analytics into practical fraud decision strategies.
