Blue Origin seeks a senior FPGA/ASIC design engineer to develop HDL requirements for avionics in a radiation environment and verify high-assurance modules. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, and software teams and contribute to the Lunar Transportation program. The role requires 8+ years in FPGA/ASIC design, strong RTL skills, and the ability to lead and communicate across disciplines.

Travel up to 10% is expected. U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years FPGA/ASIC design and verification experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop HDL requirements in coordination with systems, hardware, software, and subsystem owners.
• Generate FPGA requirements document and verification plan.
• Design, write HDL code, verify and document complex low level modules with DAL A safety requirements in a high radiation environment.
• Ability to lead effectively in a team environment and to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
• 10% travel to other Blue Origin locations for meetings or large-scale events.
