Blue Origin's Honeybee Robotics Exploration Systems in Altadena, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer specialized in FPGAs to develop flight avionics, rovers, and motor controllers for robotic missions across the solar system. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams through the full product lifecycle from conception to flight-ready hardware.

The role demands hands-on FPGA design, SystemVerilog, and integration with firmware, with on-site work and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years developing and testing complex hardware across the product lifecycle.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog or Verilog for RTL.
• Experience with SoC integration and interface design.
• Strong FPGA design and verification skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a flight FPGA design owner within small teams.
• Design, implement, and test FPGA hardware and RTL.
• Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, test and software teams.
• Define tests at the avionics lab and environmental test labs.
• Document design specifications and participate in design reviews.
