RTX in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a Senior FPGA Engineer to design and deliver FPGA releases across vendors, from concept to production. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, and software teams to ensure on-time, robust solutions.

You will code in VHDL, verify using directed and constrained tests, and contribute to requirements, verification plans, and documentation, enabling reliable unmanned platforms and secure systems.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant FPGA experience.
• HDL design and digital design for configurable logic devices.
• Experience with FPGA devices and associated tools (Altera, Lattice, Microchip, AMD).
• Experience with electronics debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
• Experience with FPGA timing constraints and timing closure.
• Experience with digital simulation tools such as Questa or RivieraPro.
• Experience with Python or C programming.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver production quality FPGA releases from initial proof of concept up to production.
• Work cooperatively with systems, hardware, software engineers, and program management to ensure product success.
• Design and code in VHDL for reliability, maintainability, reviewability and reusability.
• Verify designs utilizing self-checking techniques with directed and constrained random tests, while tracking functional and code coverage.
• Create complete documentation including requirements, verification plan, user’s guides and configuration management.
• Design support from requirements definition through integration and test.
• Perform and participate in internal and external technical reviews.
• Independently drive projects and execute to program schedules and budget.
