Job summary

RTX is seeking an FPGA Electrical Engineer I in Huntsville, AL, to design FPGA solutions across major vendors and device families. You will collaborate with circuit card designers and systems engineers to translate requirements into hardware implementations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or STEM and experience with HDL, digital design, and Linux-based development; DoD security clearance is required for this U.S. government–related position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or STEM or related degree.
• Experience or coursework in Digital Design and HDL coding targeting configurable logic devices.
• Knowledge of FPGA timing constraints and timing closure.

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA designs for major vendors and device families including AMD, Altera, and Microchip.
