AIR Communities is hiring a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead monthly and quarterly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and special projects in Chicago, IL or Denver, CO. This in-office role requires deep multifamily finance expertise and strong cross-functional collaboration to deliver decision-ready insights.

The ideal candidate will design scalable processes, manage multiple workstreams, and develop talent within the FP&A team, while partnering with executive leadership and operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in multifamily finance, asset management, or operations.
• Proven track record building and mentoring FP&A teams.
• Deep understanding of real estate fundamentals, portfolio performance, and capital markets.
• Ability to influence executive decisions and communicate data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise and Finance strategy into clear FP&A plans across teams.
• Create and implement new processes to improve efficiency and alignment.
• Oversee enterprise-level reporting and analytics for monthly/quarterly deliverables.
• Partner with Finance and Operations leaders to inform enterprise strategy.
• Drive large-scale cross-functional initiatives to scale FP&A capabilities.
• Develop and manage FP&A Managers and Analysts.
• Ensure alignment across reporting workstreams and data-driven insights.
• Strengthen the firm's enterprise reporting foundation.
