Job summary

AIR Communities in Denver is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. You will partner with leaders to deliver insights that inform decisions and drive performance across the organization.

You will own month-end processes, support multi-year planning, and help manage treasury and debt. A strong Excel foundation and experience with Hyperion/FP&A tools is valuable for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• At least five years of progressive corporate finance experience with strong financial concepts, processes and modeling best practices.
• Expert proficiency in Excel and comfortable building complex models.
• Desirable: experience presenting to senior leaders, strong financial writing, Hyperion PBCS experience.
• FP&A background; real estate knowledge beneficial but not required.
• Tools include SQL, Power BI, Blue Prism, Power Apps, Python, ML, Microsoft Flow, VBA.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to improve decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and presenting financial and operational insights.
• Diagnose complex business problems and help develop data-informed solutions.
• Execute month-end accounting and financial processes accurately and on schedule.
• Forecasting and budgeting support including multi-year planning and corporate treasury analysis.
• Lead G&A planning and forecasting with budget monitoring and variance analysis.
• Prepare quarterly reports for executive decision-making.
• Continuously improve skills, tools, and perspectives.
