Job summary

AIR Communities is hiring a Manager of Corporate FP&A to lead G&A planning, cash flow forecasting, and reporting for the Finance team headquartered in Denver, CO or Chicago, IL. This in-office role requires partnering with executives and Blackstone to drive performance.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in FP&A with strong modeling and communication skills, plus preferred private equity exposure and a Bachelor’s in a finance-related field.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive FP&A, finance, or related experience, including cash flow reporting and forecasting.
• Experience developing cash flow models and translating results into actionable insights preferred.
• Private equity experience preferred.
• Experience managing complex FP&A processes and supervising team members.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for senior leaders and external stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate independently and drive results.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• CFA, CPA, CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A for Corporate G&A and cash flow reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
• Manage annual budget, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders on deviations, cash flow projections, and risk/opportunity identification.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-level financial reporting and analytics.
• Coordinate property- and fund-level budgets and reforecasts.
• Drive process improvements and automation in FP&A tools.
