Job summary

charity: water is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to own revenue budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning. You will build the organization’s single source of truth for long-range planning, integrating inputs from Strategic Finance, Revenue Operations, and Leadership to drive data-driven decisions.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance, you’ll translate financial data into actionable insights and partner across teams to align growth-focused KPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in strategic, analytical, and finance roles
• Experience in forecasting, long-range planning, and financial analytics
• Elite Google and Microsoft Suite skills, specifically Google Sheets and Excel
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Looker or similar systems
• Systems and tooling adaptability with a demonstrated ability to leverage AI to create workflow efficiencies
• Ability to own and drive multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent quantitative skills and ability to distill data into actionable insights
• Detail-oriented and able to produce high-quality deliverables

Responsibilities

• Developing a deep understanding of revenue streams, donor restrictions, expenses, and business rules shaping strategy
• Overseeing revenue side of annual budget, monthly actuals, and forecasts
• Reviewing and pressure-testing revenue forecast and inputs from Finance
• Building and owning the integrated multi-year financial model for long-range planning
• Setting input requirements, standards, and deadlines for departments feeding the model
• Leading financial performance analytics and ROI reporting
• Partnering with stakeholders to shape growth-oriented financial and KPI goals
• Preparing monthly financial results for leadership and Board presentations
