Job summary

charity: water seeks a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to own the revenue side of the budget and forecast, build multi-year models, and translate financial data into actionable insights for leadership.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance, you will coordinate inputs from across Revenue Operations, Accounting, and Leadership to produce a coherent long-range view, with strong emphasis on accuracy and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
• 7+ years in strategic, analytical, and finance roles.
• Forecasting, long-range planning, and financial analytics experience.
• Advanced Google Sheets and Excel skills.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce or Looker preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong communication and data-driven storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop revenue budgeting and forecasting with inputs from Revenue Operations and Accounting.
• Oversee the revenue side of the annual budget, monthly actuals, and forecasts.
• Pressure-test revenue forecasts and incorporate risk-adjusted figures.
• Build and own the integrated multi-year financial model for long-range planning.
• Set input requirements and deadlines for departments feeding the model.
• Lead financial performance analytics and ROI reporting.
• Collaborate across teams to align growth-oriented financial goals.
• Prepare monthly results for leadership and support Board/Finance Committee presentations.
