Job summary

Planet Labs PBC is seeking a Senior FP&A Revenue Manager to build a world-class revenue forecasting process. You will analyze revenue drivers by channel and geography, partner with BI, Accounting, and leadership, and own the comprehensive revenue forecast for the company.

The role is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. You will collaborate with accounting and investor relations to ensure accurate forecasting and transparent reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or related roles.
• Experience with consumption-based revenue models and ASC 606 rules.
• Strong analytics and financial modeling skills, with ability to build dynamic models.
• Ability to explain complex model characteristics and results to leadership.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Sales, and BI teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting for all revenue metrics.
• Build and maintain sophisticated revenue forecasting models; drive improvements.
• Be domain expert on revenue, coordinate with business partners for bookings and usage assumptions.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and communicate variances and outlook.
• Collaborate with Accounting to align revenue recognition with forecasting methods.
• Automate planning and reporting processes with BI teams.
