Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to partner with Engineering and Product, owning the financial view of SaaS products from R&D to hosting costs and margins. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and ROIs for strategic build decisions while ensuring GAAP compliance and actionable reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or experience.
• 7+ years of corporate FP&A experience in SaaS/tech, with engineering/product exposure.
• Strong SaaS economics understanding: gross margin, COGS, unit economics.
• Experience modeling cloud/hosting costs and cloud pricing constructs.
• Cost allocation models and product-level P&Ls with GAAP costing.
• Advanced Excel and Oracle PBCS; strong data analytics skills.
• Excellent communication for technical and leadership audiences.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Own FP&A partnership to Engineering, Product, and Tech Ops; translate roadmaps into financial plans.
• Manage R&D and Engineering budgeting/forecasting including headcount, tooling, vendor spend.
• Build ROI analyses for build-vs-buy, vendor rationalization, migrations.
• Support capitalization analysis; track R&D efficiency metrics.
• Forecast hosting cost, COGS vs. Opex, GAAP policy alignment.
• Model infrastructure contracts and data center strategies.
• Create unit-cost metrics and reporting cadence for pricing decisions.
• Develop product-level P&Ls and cost allocation methodologies.
• Lead monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for board and CFO with variance commentary.
• Drive automation of data pipelines and dashboards integrating cloud billing and GL data.
