Job summary

Cornerstone OnDemand seeks a Senior FP&A Manager to act as the finance partner to Engineering and Product. You will own the financial view of SaaS product costs from R&D to hosting, build required business cases, and drive margin analyses.

Expect rigorous reporting, data-driven decisions, and close collaboration with technical leaders. The role emphasizes advanced Excel, Oracle PBCS, and data analysis skills, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly board

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of corporate FP&A experience supporting Engineering, Technical Operations, or Product in SaaS/tech.
• Strong SaaS economics knowledge: gross margin, cost of sales, unit economics.
• Experience modeling cloud/hosting costs and cloud pricing constructs.
• Experience building cost allocation models and product-level P&Ls with GAAP.
• Advanced Excel, plus Oracle PBCS; SQL/Python for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering and Product leaders to translate roadmaps into financial plans.
• Own R&D budgeting, headcount, tooling, and vendor spend forecasting.
• Build ROI and business cases for build-vs-buy and migrations.
• Model hosting, cloud costs, and data-center strategy with FinOps.
• Develop product-level P&Ls and cost allocations; monitor margins.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports for BOD and CFO; drive dashboards.
