Akumin is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead executive communications and strategic reporting. This role serves as a critical liaison between finance and executive leadership, translating complex financial data into compelling narratives and presentations that drive informed decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, corporate finance, or FP&A with 2+ years in executive communications/presentations.
• Exceptional PowerPoint and data visualization skills with BI tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear narratives.
• Experience from consulting/advisory backgrounds is common among successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver executive communications, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
• Translate financial performance, trends, and initiatives into executive-ready narratives and visuals.
• Prepare management reporting packages that synthesize financial and operational metrics.
• Develop presentation materials for quarterly earnings calls, investor meetings, and strategic planning.
• Create executive dashboards and scorecards for C-suite decision-making.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual executive reporting packages.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources into concise executive summaries.
• Provide strategic recommendations to drive efficiency and performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and present integrated metrics.
• Develop ad-hoc analyses in response to executive inquiries.
