Job summary

Akumin, a leading outpatient radiology and oncology services provider, seeks a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead executive communications and strategic reporting. You will translate complex financial data into compelling narratives and visuals for the C-suite.

This role partners with finance and accounting, delivers monthly and annual packages, and shapes strategic initiatives. A growth-minded leader will mentor the team and drive improvements in reporting standards and business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, corporate finance, or FP&A with 2+ years in executive communications/presentations.
• Exceptional PowerPoint and data visualization skills with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear narratives.
• Structured problem-solving and executive communication background.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-impact executive communications, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
• Translate financial performance into executive-ready narratives and visuals.
• Prepare comprehensive management reporting packages.
• Develop presentation materials for quarterly earnings calls, investor meetings, and planning sessions.
• Create executive dashboards and scorecards for C-suite decision-making.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual executive reporting packages.
• Synthesize data into cohesive executive summaries.
• Provide strategic recommendations to drive efficiency and performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to present integrated metrics.
• Develop ad-hoc analyses and presentations for executive inquiries.
