Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead executive communications and strategic reporting. The role interfaces between finance and executive leadership, translating complex data into compelling narratives for high-level decision-making. It offers a clear growth path with increasing leadership responsibilities.

The position includes a base salary up to $130,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, corporate finance, or FP&A with 2+ years in executive communications/presentations.
Exceptional PowerPoint and data visualization skills with BI tools.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement prep.
Proven ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear narratives.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver executive communications, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
Translate performance and initiatives into executive-ready narratives and visuals.
Prepare management reporting packages that synthesize financial and operational metrics.
Create materials for quarterly earnings calls, investor meetings, and strategic planning.
Develop executive dashboards and scorecards for C-suite decisions.
