Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead executive communications and strategic reporting. This role serves as a key conduit between finance and executive leadership, translating complex financial data into compelling narratives and presentations for board and senior teams.

You will own monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages, build executive dashboards, and craft earnings materials, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and clarity in financial messaging.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 5+ years of progressive FP&A or financial reporting experience.
2+ years in executive communications, presentations, or similar role.
Exceptional PowerPoint and data visualization skills with BI tools.
Advanced Excel and familiarity with financial reporting systems.
Strong US GAAP knowledge and ability to translate numbers into narratives.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver high-impact executive communications, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
Translate financial performance and trends into executive-ready narratives and visuals.
Prepare comprehensive management reporting packages with metrics.
Create materials for quarterly earnings calls, investor meetings, and strategic planning.
Develop dashboards and scorecards for CFO-level decision making.
