Caraway Home is seeking an FP&A–focused finance professional to drive demand planning, pricing, budgeting, and executive reporting. The role operates in a hybrid setting, moving between SKU-level forecasts and channel P&L to support strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate brings 4–7 years in consumer/retail finance, strong BI/SQL capabilities, and advanced modeling. Expect close collaboration with Growth, Merchandising, Retail, and Supply Chain teams as you grow toward category ownership.

Qualifikationen

• 4-7 years in FP&A, strategic finance, merchandise or inventory planning, or category management, in a consumer, retail, or e-commerce business.
• Fluency moving between units and dollars: unit forecasts, landed cost, margin, and channel P&L, including how inventory moves through the business and how promotional pricing and unit economics play out at the partner level.
• Self-sufficiency in a BI tool, ideally SQL: you can find, pull, and validate your own data and build your own reporting.
• Strong Excel and independent modeling ability: you build models from scratch that others can follow, audit, and defend.
• Comfort working across departments: Growth, Merchandising, Retail, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Creative.
• Familiarity with GL, COA, P&L structure, and budget-to-actuals reporting.
• Comfort being visibly wrong: forecasting is a discipline of continuous revision.

Aufgaben

• Own monthly All Hands reporting and the underlying revenue/margin views by channel, product, and category.
• Support quarterly board reporting and investor updates.
• Run the monthly department budget cycle (actuals, recodes, variance reporting).
• Run monthly demand model actualization and build the variance commentary.
• Own pricing QA across site, Amazon, and retail surfaces; track assortment by partner.
