We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join a growing consumer-focused company within the CPG/apparel space. This role will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional business leaders to drive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical finance professional who can go beyond reporting the numbers to help the business understand what is driving performance and how financial insights can inform business decisions.
This is a hands-on role with visibility across the organization and an opportunity to support key commercial initiatives, including product launches, pricing, margin optimization, channel performance, and broader business planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses
- Analyze monthly and quarterly financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, COGS, operating expenses, and profitability
- Prepare reporting and presentations for senior leadership
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Product, and Supply Chain
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business and commercial decisions
- Support product launches, commercialization initiatives, pricing decisions, and other strategic business opportunities
- Evaluate business cases, investment opportunities, and potential financial impacts
- Analyze product, customer, channel, and/or category performance
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and drivers of financial performance
- Partner with Accounting to ensure alignment between actual results, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Develop and improve financial reporting, planning processes, and analytical tools
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, commercial finance, or a related field
- Experience within CPG, apparel, fashion, beauty, retail, or another consumer-focused environment strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Strong understanding of P&L management, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Experience partnering with cross-functional business teams
- Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
