Job summary

Caraway is seeking an FP&A-driven professional to own demand planning, pricing and budgeting in a fast-growing cookware business. You'll partner with leadership to translate data into actionable financial decisions across SKU-level forecasts and channel P&L.

Hybrid role blending analytics with strategic business ownership. You’ll build models in SQL/BI, collaborate with Growth, Merchandising, Retail, and Supply Chain, and own monthly reporting, board updates, and the annual budget.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years in FP&A, strategic finance, merchandising or inventory planning in consumer/retail/e-commerce.
• Fluency moving between units and dollars: forecasts, landed cost, margin, and channel P&L.
• Self-sufficiency with a BI tool and data retrieval; SQL experience preferred.
• Strong Excel modeling ability; build auditable models from scratch.
• Comfort collaborating across Growth, Merchandising, Retail, Supply Chain, Accounting.
• Familiarity with GL and budget-to-actuals reporting; ability to read financial statements.
• Willingness to re-forecast and adjust numbers openly when needed.

Responsibilities

• Reporting & Budgeting: own monthly All Hands revenue/margin views by channel, product, and category.
• Support quarterly board reporting and investor updates.
• Manage monthly department budget cycle and annual reforecasting.
• Demand & Retail Forecasting: run demand model actualization and variance commentary.
• Partner with Operations on supplier capacity and reorder timing.
• Pricing & Promotional Analysis: QA pricing across site/retail and track pricing by partner.
