Job summary

BusPatrol is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance & FP&A in Austin, TX to partner with senior leadership on planning, forecasting, and performance-management architecture. You will own rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and KPI design while connecting strategy to financial outcomes across Finance, Operations, Sales and Product.

The role offers significant visibility, opportunities to influence growth investments, cost optimization, and capital allocation, with a path to broader FP&A ownership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical field; MBA or advanced coursework is a plus.
• 7 to 10+ years of progressive FP&A/strategic finance experience.
• Experience leading annual planning, forecasting, and executive performance reporting in a complex/high-growth environment.
• Expert-level Excel and financial-modeling capabilities with three-statement modeling.
• Strong command of DCF, ROI, scenario planning, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis.
• Experience with ERP/ CPM platforms such as NetSuite, Planful, Anaplan; data-structure understanding a plus.
• Ability to translate strategy into financial drivers and operational insights.
• Executive presence and strong communication, able to present to C-suite.
• Proven ability to influence and partner across Finance and business.
• Experience with PowerPoint and data-visualization tools (ThinkCell, Tableau, etc.).
• Hands-on, high-accountability approach; ability to dive into details when needed.
• Intellectual curiosity and judgment, bias toward continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning from design to executive alignment.
• Translate priorities into headcount plans, operating budgets, investment cases, and measurable outcomes.
• Develop driver-based forecasts for revenue, margin, OPEX, headcount, and cash flow.
• Establish variance-analysis routines linking financials to operational drivers and actions.
• Build and oversee sophisticated models for scenario planning, pricing, capacity and M&A evaluation.
• Prepare KPI dashboards and executive performance reporting across units.
• Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews with segment performance and forecasting changes.
• Synthesize data into concise narratives for senior leadership and Board.
