Deciphera, a biopharmaceutical company, seeks a Senior Director of FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning. This role partners with Ono Pharma HQ and cross-functional leaders to translate financial insights into strategic decisions.

The position emphasizes building a high-performing FP&A team and strengthening reporting capabilities. With 10+ years in finance within pharma/biopharma, you will drive portfolio planning, investment decisions, and resource allocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of finance experience with FP&A/strategic finance leadership in pharma/biopharma.
• Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to influence strategic decisions via data-driven analysis.
• Experience presenting financial insights to executive leadership teams.
• Demonstrated success mentoring finance professionals.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to partner with senior executives, cross-functional leaders, and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A and strategic finance initiatives for Deciphera.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Partner with functional leaders to provide financial guidance and challenge assumptions.
• Lead financial reporting and forecasting with Ono Pharmaceutical HQ.
• Develop analyses, business cases, and executive-level presentations for senior leadership.
• Align financial plans with strategic priorities and operational objectives.
• Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and planning methodologies.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team with clear goals and career development.
