Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Advanced degree, CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
• 15+ years in finance/FP&A, preferably in biotech or high-growth R&D environments.
• 8+ years leading people, teams, or major workstreams.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX, budgeting and close processes.
• Experience building live clinical trial forecasting models and scenario planning.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario modeling for R&D functions.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Provide financial insights to support portfolio prioritization and resource allocation.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and variance explanations for leadership groups.
• Lead monthly/quarterly close, variance analysis, and accrual support.
• Collaborate with Accounting and program teams to ensure GAAP compliance.
