Job summary

Platform Accounting Group is seeking a Director of FP&A to guide financial planning across 50+ entities. You will analyze financial data, model forecasts, and collaborate with multiple departments to shape strategy and performance insights.

The role requires leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, with close partnership to the accounting team and senior management. A strong analytical mindset and cross-functional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Finance/FP&A experience.
• Experience with private equity portfolio company is a major plus.
• Experience in fast-growing company with multiple subsidiaries and business lines.
• Strong FP&A skills including budgeting, forecasting, month end close, reporting, and advanced financial modeling.
• High degree of project organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as financial point of contact for stakeholders across subsidiaries/functions and provide guidance on performance, KPIs and ad-hoc analytics.
• Create financial models including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning to support decision-making.
• Partner with extended finance and cross-functional teams to support month-end close, performance review, and variance analysis.
• Analyze monthly results and trends to support monthly estimates and assess risks and opportunities.
• Refine data systems and tools to track performance and enhance reporting and insights.
• Develop highlights/KPIs to track growth initiatives and profitability improvements.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and different subsidiaries.
• Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning process.
• Present to senior management and directors.
• Analyze past financial performance, prepare competitor analysis, and examine market trends with management commentary.
• Provide financial insights and projections to the accounting team.
