Job summary

UFG Insurance is seeking an AVP, Financial Planning & Analysis to act as a senior leader within Corporate Finance, translating enterprise strategy into financial plans and actionable insights. You will oversee planning, forecasting, management reporting, and expense governance to support executive-level decisions.

The role leads FP&A execution, develops talent, and partners across functions to enhance analytics, reporting, and process capabilities while representing FP&A in leadership forums.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or related leadership experience.
• Experience leading enterprise planning, forecasting, and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP of FP&A to execute the enterprise FP&A agenda and leadership deliverables.
• Lead enterprise planning, forecasting, long-range planning, and strategic financial analysis.
• Review financial results, forecasts, business cases, staffing requests, and investment proposals for optimal decision-making.
• Oversee management reporting and executive materials for CFO and leadership.
• Serve as senior financial advisor translating objectives into measurable financial plans.
• Lead FP&A transformation, standardization, automation, and data quality initiatives.
• Develop FP&A talent and cross-functional collaboration across departments.
• Coordinate cross-functional financial priorities with Accounting, Treasury, HR, and others.
• Represent FP&A in leadership forums and drive special projects.
