Job summary

2U is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead cross-functional financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis, partnering with executives to drive decisions. You will own models, consolidate forecasts, build scenario analyses, and provide actionable insights while scaling FP&A processes and reporting across the organization.

This role emphasizes leadership, deep financial acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into clear business narratives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate financial insights to senior leadership.
• Advanced proficiency with Adaptive Planning (or comparable enterprise planning systems).
• Advanced financial modeling and three-statement financial modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial analyses into clear narratives for Board/executive presentations.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual operating plan, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning across the organization.
• Own consolidation of enterprise financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans across units.
• Develop and maintain integrated three-statement financial models to support planning and liquidity management.
• Build scenario analyses, business cases, and financial models for strategic initiatives.
• Partner with executives to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
