Job summary

Archaea bp is seeking an Advisor, Finance to lead financial modeling, planning, reporting, and performance management within the FP&A team. You will connect commercial, operational, market, and financial drivers into clear analyses for management.

The role reports to the VP of FP&A and collaborates across FP&A, Performance, ST&S, Accounting, Commercial, and Corporate Development to deliver accurate models and actionable insights. This is a hybrid role based in the US.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of FP&A, planning and performance management experience.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel and experience with planning/reporting systems (Vena preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for plans, valuations, forecasts, scenarios and reporting.
• Co-manage the Vena planning system for deliverables, data compilation, and management reports.
• Prepare Latest Estimates and support monthly MBR deliverables and variance analysis.
• Review key assumptions across production, pricing, costs, capital, and market exposure to improve forecast quality.
• Translate operational and market drivers into financial outcomes including risks and opportunities.
• Prepare leadership-ready materials and variance analyses to inform decisions.
