Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst/Manager to join our growing team in the Health and Civilian sector, reporting to the Sr Manager of FP&A. You will partner with the program team and VP to drive financial performance and provide timely, accurate financial insight to leadership.

Responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, program P&L, and management reporting, with an emphasis on DoD-contract knowledge and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline; 8+ years of experience
• Government contracting experience with CAS, FAR and GAAP knowledge
• Experience building financial planning & analysis cadence
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables and modeling
• Strong communication and ability to distill complex financial data for stakeholders
• Analytical thinking, critical thinking and problem solving across multiple data sources
• Ability to balance priorities across internal and external programs while meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

• Partner with Division VP and program teams to support financial performance decisions
• Prepare monthly P&L, trend and variance analyses and monthly leadership reporting
• Manage rolling forecasts and annual budgets for the program
• Support pricing exercises, ROMs, option years and repricing
• Track subcontractor spending and funding
• Recommend process improvements and action plans
• Oversee month-end close including accruals and revenue recognition
• Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts and procurement teams
