Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst/Manager to join our growing health and civilian sector efforts. This role reports to the Sr Manager of FP&A and requires building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and company leadership to drive financial performance.

The ideal candidate will excel in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and pricing exercises while coordinating with cross-functional teams and back-office departments to ensure accurate, timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Government contracting knowledge with CAS, FAR and GAAP.
• Experience developing financial planning and analysis cadence.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables, formulas, modeling.
• Strong communication and ability to distill complex financial data for stakeholders.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems using data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Partner with VP and program team to provide analysis and guidance for informed decision-making and financial performance improvements.
• Produce timely financial reporting including program P&L, trend and variance analyses, and monthly reports for leadership.
• Manage monthly rolling forecast and annual budgeting activities.
• Support PMO and procurement with advanced financial planning, invoicing, and contract deliverables.
• Assist with ROMs, option years and repricing exercises.
• Track subcontractor spending and funding; recommend process improvements.
