Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Finance Analyst/Manager to support the Health and Civilian sector, reporting to the Sr Manager of FP&A. You will build relationships with stakeholders, manage P&L and forecasts, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliant pricing practices.

The role emphasizes leadership, analytical rigor, and collaboration across program teams, with a remote-friendly environment and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline with 8+ years (or commensurate experience).
• Government Contracting experience; Knowledgeable with CAS, FAR and GAAP
• Experience developing financial planning and analysis cadence
• Advanced Excel user including pivot tables, complex formulas and modeling
• Strong communication skills and ability to distill complex financial information for stakeholders
• Ability to think critically and solve problems analytically
• Ability to interpret and analyze data from multiple sources
• Balance competing internal and external priorities while meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

• Partner with Division VP and program team to guide decisions and improve financial performance.
• Produce timely financial reporting including program P&L, variance analysis, and monthly reports for management and customers.
• Manage monthly rolling forecast and annual budgeting activities.
• Support program management and PMO with advanced financial planning, reporting, and invoicing.
• Assist with pricing exercises and option-year analyses.
• Track subcontractor spending and funding; manage cost controls.
• Recommend process improvements and corrective actions to hit financial goals.
• Close books monthly including accruals and revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, and Procurement to support operations
