ShipBob, Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced finance team supporting transportation initiatives. You will forecast, analyze variances, and build board-ready materials to enable profitable growth.

The role reports to the FP&A Manager and requires collaboration with Transportation and other teams. Hybrid work schedule in our Chicago office, with a robust compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of FP&A or related experience.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Chicago office.
• Excellent financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough analysis on transportation initiatives each month and communicate key performance drivers and variances to plan to senior management.
• Collaborate with partners to strategize and report on weekly performance related to Transportation and margins.
• Manage relationships with Transportation team to build bottoms up forecasts and identify risks/opportunities.
• Develop and implement models and processes for new strategic transportation initiatives.
• Prepare the annual operating plan with the Transportation team and convert to the budget.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting presentations for investors and the board.
