Job summary

Coinbase, a remote-first company with quarterly in-person surges, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst for the FP&A team. You will be the financial partner to Consumer leadership, owning analysis and planning that guides resource allocation and efficiency across one of Coinbase's largest business lines.

You will forecast, build models, and present analyses to drive strategic trade-offs, with cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance with direct ownership of OpEx planning.
• Experience building driver-based financial models and scenario analyses.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and monthly deliverables for Consumer OpEx.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models to quantify risks and opportunities.
• Drive monthly variance analysis and month-end close with Accounting for data integrity.
• Partner with product, engineering, design, and cross-functional leads to translate insights into resource allocations.
• Lead the preparation and presentation of analyses during business reviews with strategic recommendations.
• Perform deep-dive analyses to surface trends and efficiency opportunities.
