Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on the FP&A team to own the analysis and planning for Consumer segments. You will drive forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Design to guide resource allocation and efficiency initiatives.

You will build driver-based models, run variance analyses, and present business reviews with actionable recommendations. Experience in high-growth tech/fintech and responsible use of AI are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance with OpEx planning ownership.
• Demonstrated experience building driver-based financial models and scenario analyses in Excel, with SQL for data analysis.
• Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, or Design to align financial plans with business priorities.
• Experience in a high-growth tech/fintech environment with multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial deliverables for Consumer OpEx across planning cycles.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models to quantify risks, opportunities, and scenarios.
• Drive monthly variance analysis and month-end close for your areas with Accounting for data integrity.
• Partner with Consumer Product, Engineering, Design teams to translate insights into resource allocation recommendations.
• Lead preparation and presentation of financial analyses during business reviews with clear strategic recommendations.
• Execute proactive deep-dive analyses to surface trends, anomalies, and efficiency opportunities.
