Catalyst Brands in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for the Lifestyle Brands division including Aéropostale, Lucky Brand, and Nautica. The hybrid role partners with Finance, Accounting and Brand leaders across channels.

The ideal candidate blends strong FP&A with accounting basics, data validation rigor, and the ability to translate operations into clear financial narratives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
• Advanced Excel skills: lookups, SUMIFS, pivot tables, indexing.
• Structured self-audit and data validation process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning across retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and corporate operations.
• Own assigned business areas, forecasts, or recurring deliverables with limited supervision.
• Build, maintain, and improve driver-based financial models in Excel with clear assumptions.
• Analyze sales, gross margin, and SG&A, investigate variances, and propose actionable solutions.
• Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close to assess accrual needs and resolve discrepancies.
• Partner with non-finance teams to understand pricing, product costs, and channel profitability.
• Prepare and present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
