Catalyst Brands LLC in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support FP&A, forecasting, and reporting for its Lifestyle Brands (Aéropostale, Lucky Brand, Nautica). Hybrid work: three days onsite, two days remote weekly, collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and Brand leaders.

The ideal candidate has FP&A experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to translate operational activity into financial narratives to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• 2 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting/financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel with complex formulas, lookups, index/match, pivot tables and driver-based modeling.
• Proficient written and verbal communication; ability to build cross-functional relationships.

Responsabilités

• Drive and support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning across retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and corporate operations.
• Develop and maintain financial models with clearly documented reasonable assumptions.
• Analyze sales, gross margin, SG&A, and profitability against budget and forecast; diagnose root causes.
• Analyze GL accounts and transaction-level details to validate monthly results and resolve variances.
• Assess impacts of pricing, product volumes, and category mix on sales and margins across channels.
• Prepare and present clear financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
