Job summary

Catalyst Brands is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support FP&A, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis for its Lifestyle Brands division (Aéropostale, Lucky Brand, Nautica). This hybrid role can be based in New York, NY or Lyndhurst, NJ.

The right candidate will own forecasting, drive analytics across retail, e‑commerce, and wholesale, and partner with brand leaders to translate data into strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, and modeling.
• A rigorous data validation process to ensure accuracy before leadership review.
• Strong written and verbal communication with non-finance partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning across channels.
• Own assigned forecasts and deliverables with limited supervision.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models in Excel.
• Analyze variances, provide root-cause insights, and propose actions.
• Validate GL activity and support month‑end close with accounting.
