Catalyst Brands in Lyndhurst, NJ, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis for the Lifestyle Brands division (Aéropostale, Lucky Brand, Nautica). Hybrid role based in Lyndhurst, New Jersey.

The ideal candidate will own end-to-end financial narratives, partner with brand leaders across channels, and deliver actionable insights to shape strategic decisions. 2+ years in FP&A or related roles preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
• High proficiency with advanced Excel (lookups, SUMIFS, index/match, pivots, driver-based modeling).
• Structured self-audit, reconciliation, and data validation processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication with non-finance partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning across retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and corporate operations.
• Own assigned business areas, forecasts, or recurring deliverables with limited supervision.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models with well-documented assumptions.
• Analyze sales, gross margin, SG&A, and profitability against budget and forecast; investigate variances.
• Validate monthly results with GL accounts and coordinate month-end close with Accounting.
