Job summary

Monarch Money is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to scale our finance function from a remote-first team. You will own the planning cadence, support budgets and re-forecasts, and partner with Accounting on monthly reporting and variance analysis.

You will align departmental plans across Growth, Product, Engineering, and People, turning complex data into actionable insights and building scalable processes in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in FP&A or corporate finance with full planning cycle experience.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling and scenario planning.
• Ability to translate numbers into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

• Own annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts with calendar and sessions.
• Maintain and extend core operating model; monitor spend vs plan.
• Prepare variance analyses with narrative explanations.
• Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close and reporting.
• Automate recurring reports in Aleph/Omni to improve self-service.
