Job summary

Finalsite is seeking a highly analytical Sr. Financial Analyst on an independent contractor basis to support strategic financial insights and executive reporting in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

The role offers exposure to finance leadership, private equity stakeholders, and cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations. The ideal contractor will have a strong background in financial planning, modeling, and data-driven decision support, with a focus on accuracy,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 2–4+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel/Sheets skills.
• Experience building dashboards and reporting in BI tools.
• Understanding SaaS business models and recurring revenue metrics.
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, forecasting tools) in business.
• Experience presenting insights to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze revenue, bookings, ARR, churn, retention, margin, and KPIs.
• Develop financial models and scenario planning; identify trends and risks.
• Prepare operating plans and board-level financial presentations.
• Leverage AI-enabled forecasting tools to improve speed and accuracy.
• Create and maintain budget vs. actuals reports with variance analysis.
