Qualifications

• Strong understanding of income statements and balance sheets
• Intermediate MS Excel skills such as analyzing large data sets, vlookups/hlookups, creating pivot tables, filtering options, waterfall charts

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: forecasting, business planning and branch performance analysis.
• Operational Initiatives: identify opportunities for cost/productivity improvements with GLM and LM.
• Month-End Closing: journal entries, explain variances, GL research, billing opportunities.
• Customer invoicing, revenue posting to GL, monitoring monthly aging reports.
• Training: provide financial training to operations staff on policies and tools.
• Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance: audits as needed; liaise with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
