Job summary

Actalent seeks a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) for a 12-month contract in Bothell, WA with a 50/50 hybrid schedule. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and strategic financial analysis to drive business performance.

You will partner with business leaders, build financial models, and deliver insights to support revenue growth and profitability while leveraging SAP and advanced Excel. This is a high-visibility position in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis experience.
• Strong experience supporting a P&L business unit.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning skills.
• Experience with cost analysis and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Advanced Excel for modeling and data analysis.
• SAP experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve monthly budget-to-actual forecasting across multiple expense categories.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to support business objectives.
• Partner with leaders across the organization to evaluate key performance drivers and planning assumptions.
• Conduct detailed project cost analyses and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Develop financial models to support revenue growth, profitability, and long-term strategic initiatives.
• Prepare monthly forecast reporting, variance analyses, and executive-level insights.
• Utilize SAP and advanced Excel capabilities to analyze and report on financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial planning processes and decision-making.
