Actalent in Bothell, WA is seeking an FP&A Analyst to drive financial performance by managing monthly budget-vs-actual forecasts and analyzing P&L results. You will partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and cost reduction efforts within a P&L business unit.

The role emphasizes forecasting accuracy, evaluating key performance drivers, and delivering monthly P&L forecast reports. Proficiency in Excel and SAP will be essential to gather, analyze, and report data

Qualificações

• 46+ years of relevant experience in corporate financial planning and analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in financial planning within a P&L business unit.
• Proven experience in project cost analysis and cost reduction analysis.
• Strong experience in financial planning, budget forecasting, and financial forecasting.
• Hands-on experience preparing and analyzing P&L statements and related financial reports.
• Proficiency in cost analysis and project cost reduction methodologies.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Experience working with SAP in a financial or analytical capacity.
• Ability to perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis and performance driver evaluation.
• Comfort with participating in a drug test (including THC testing) as part of onboarding, in accordance with company policy.

Responsabilidades

• Manage monthly budget versus actual spending forecasts across all budgeted work expense accounts, improving forecasting accuracy.
• Conduct analyses to support financial planning within a P&L unit, providing insights for decision-making.
• Evaluate key performance drivers and partner with cross-functional teams on assumptions and methodologies.
• Support cost management by deep-diving into cost breakdowns and identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
• Prepare monthly P&L forecast reports communicating performance, trends, and variances.
• Participate in strategic planning by building/refining financial models to project revenue and profit growth.
• Collaborate with department leaders on forecasting, cost management, and financial analysis to reduce project costs.
• Utilize SAP and Excel to gather, analyze, and report data accurately.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial planning processes and reporting.
