Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) for a 12-month contract in Bothell, WA, offering a hybrid work model (50% onsite / 50% remote). The role centers on forecasting, budget-to-actual analyses, cost optimization, and strategic financial insights to support a P&L business unit.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in FP&A or related fields, strong modeling skills in Excel, and experience with SAP.

Qualifications

4+ years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis experience.
Strong experience supporting a P&L business unit.
Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Experience with cost analysis and project cost reduction initiatives.
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
SAP experience.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own and improve monthly budget-to-actual forecasting across multiple expense categories.
Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to support business objectives.
Partner with leaders across the organization to evaluate key performance drivers and planning assumptions.
Conduct detailed project cost analyses and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Develop financial models to support revenue growth, profitability, and long-term strategic initiatives.
Prepare monthly forecast reporting, variance analyses, and executive-level insights.
Utilize SAP and advanced Excel capabilities to analyze and report on financial performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial planning processes and decision-making.
