Job summary

R1 RCM, Inc. is seeking a seasoned FP&A professional to own budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and executive-ready narratives for Budget and Reforecast slides.

You will manage headcount tracking across Workday/Adaptive, support month-end close, and prepare monthly reviews with clear commentary for leadership.

This US-based role includes a target bonus of 10% and a competitive base salary, with opportunities to influence financial strategy within healthcare revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent practical experience in finance-related field.
• Strong FP&A fundamentals and ability to produce executive-ready summaries.
• Advanced Excel skills for dashboards, templates, and trackers.
• Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate across multiple leaders.

Responsibilities

• Drive annual budget and reforecast activities with templates and submission readiness.
• Translate budget changes into financial impacts for leadership.
• Maintain business case models aligned with headcount and planning tools.
• Track weekly headcount across multiple sources and reconcile planning views.
• Manage updates for hires/terminations/backfills in planning files.
• Support month-end close activities and resolve variances with stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly financial review decks with variance commentary.
• Own weekly labor CAPEX tracking and time-entry compliance.
• Track contractor/vendor spend and ensure proper CAPEX/OPEX treatment.
