Job summary

BrainWorks is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and reporting in a fully remote finance team. You will partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and drive data-driven decisions shaping growth.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years FP&A experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 1–5 years of FP&A, financial analysis, or closely related experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial planning.
• Analyze actual results against budget and forecast and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial and operational reporting.
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards.
• Support variance analysis, ROI/cost-benefit analysis, and business-case development.
• Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to gather inputs and provide financial insights.
• Support pricing analysis and other strategic FP&A projects.
• Ensure financial data and reporting are accurate and consistent.

We’re partnering with a growing healthcare technology organization looking to add an FP&A Analyst to its Finance team. This is a great opportunity for an early-career FP&A professional looking to build on their experience across budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, reporting, and business partnership.

The ideal candidate has a strong analytical foundation, some hands-on FP&A experience, and an interest in growing within a collaborative, fully remote team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial planning

• Experience within a SaaS, technology, or recurring-revenue environment
