Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Finance professional to lead budgeting and forecasting, maintain headcount data, and support month-end close. You will develop executive-ready summaries and dashboards, coordinate with multiple cost centers, and drive variance analyses to guide leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong FP&A fundamentals: budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, and building executive-ready summaries for Budget/Reforecast slides and monthly review materials.
• Advanced Excel skills for modeling, pivots, structured templates, reconciliation workflows to operate dashboards, templates, and trackers.

Responsibilities

• Drive annual budget and reforecast activities, including templates, budget master file maintenance, stakeholder follow-ups, and submission readiness.
• Maintain headcount tracking across multiple sources and reconcile planning views with operational rosters.
• Support month-end close activities, review prelim results, track accruals, labor capex, vendor entries, and reclassifications.
• Prepare monthly financial review decks with commentary detailing variances and key drivers for leadership discussions.
• Own weekly labor CAPEX tracking and reporting, ensure time-entry compliance, and manage contractor/vendor spend reviews.
