Crunchyroll is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, to support worldwide Merchandise lines and partner with business leaders in Consumer Products, Home Entertainment, Collectibles and E‑commerce.

You’ll manage budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning, and build models to drive revenue growth and profitability. This role values commercial curiosity and collaboration across licensing, retail, and direct‑to‑consumer models. Based in Los Angeles.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in analytical environments (FP&A, Accounting, Consumer Products).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Experience analyzing revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and performance drivers.
• Experience within consumer products, licensing, entertainment, retail, physical products, or e-commerce.
• Ability to translate financial results into clear commercial insights.
• Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong AI tool acumen for insights and modeling.

Aufgaben

• Handle the monthly analysis of actual performance with accounting and business teams.
• Build and maintain financial models for revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and inventory.
• Develop financial assumptions with business owners, including unit volumes, pricing, royalties, costs, distribution, returns, and timing.
• Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for product launches, licensing, and investments.
• Coordinate with Sony Pictures finance, sales, operations, and distribution stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages and perform variance analysis across key metrics.
• Identify opportunities to automate forecasting and reporting processes.
