Job summary

Servicon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to turn data into insights that drive margins, cash flow, and performance. In this hybrid role, you will partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities and improve financial results.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance, with strong Excel skills and experience inPlanful and SAP by Design. You will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting while ensuring data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance.
• Strong understanding of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow interdependencies.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with financial modeling, data analysis, and pivot tables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred qualifications: Planful FP&A forecasting tools and ERP systems (SAP by Design).

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Build and maintain financial models/templates to project revenue and margins.
• Develop sensitivity and scenario analysis to assess financial impact of operational decisions.
• Perform monthly financial close analysis, including detailed revenue, margin, SG&A for assigned sectors.
• Investigate and explain budget vs. actual, forecast vs. actual, and prior year variances.
• Track job-level performance and contract profitability.
• Analyze and track revenue trends to identify drivers of change including renewals and expansions.
• Evaluate operational KPIs including DSO, DIO, labor efficiency, and cost trends.
• Provide decision-support planning through detailed financial analysis and modeling.
• Participate in business reviews and provide financial insight to non-financial stakeholders.
• Prepare executive and board-level reporting materials with clear commentary.
• Improve reporting processes and data integrity.
• Assist with implementation of new financial tools, reporting structures, or automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
